Photoshop CS3, Wacom Intuos3 6x8, ~26 hrs.

This is my very first submission in CGS.
I had trouble with light sources and directions at first, but I think I've done good. I'm sure there are mistakes all around the image.
The concept behind the picture (and the title) is that we should always hang on to our hopes and dreams because they need us, and if we don't they will fade away and die.
